Spotlight on: ANDREA VON WICHERT Andrea von Wichert is a Winnipeg visual artist, writer and performer. A member of the Winnipeg Poetry Slam Team from 2006 to 2009 she has performed across Canada, and in 2012 performed as part of PAZZIA Collective’s Sensual Emergency tour of the UK. Her one woman show, Andrea von Wichert is OVEREXPOSED was nominated for the Harry S. Rintoul Award for best new fringe play. She was a participant this past spring in the Banff Centre’s Spoken Word Residency. This fall will see her travelling to Slovenia to take part in D’CLINIC Studio’s MIXER Residency.
