I am featuring five of some of the many Famous Singers and / or Musicians, who are either full or part Arab-American, are 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. generation, who have positively and significantly contributed to American Music! We have Arab-American, Norwalk, California-born, Pop Rock / Country Singer, Tiffany, whose full name is Tiffany Renee Darwish; Tiffany is a former teen idol, singing professionally since the early 1980s, who, in 1987, debuted her songs, I Think Were Alone Now, Couldve Been, among others, from the Tiffany album, which reached number one in several American Music Charts, followed by many songs and albums over the years to today! Arab-American, Oconomowoc, Wisconsin-born, Pop Rock / New Wave / Punk Rock Musician and Singer, Jane Wieldlin, started her professional music career in the late 1970s, since 1978, played second vocalist and rhythm guitarist, for the new wave music band, The Go-Gos, recording debuted songs, such as, Our Lips Are Sealed, Vacation, Head Over Heals, among many other songs and albums over the years, including several band reunion recordings; Jane became a solo musical artist during the years with such songs as Inside A Dream, Blue Kiss, among many others! Arab-American New Orleans, Louisiana-born, Hip-Hip Rapper, DJ Khaled, whose full name is Khaled Khaled; DJ Khaled recorded several albums, including, Victory, Kiss The Ring, among others; Khaled has worked with such musical artists as Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Usher, among others, including Khaled appearing in the music video for R&B singer, The-Dream, for the song, Rockin That Thang! Arab-American, Johnson City, New York-born Heavy Metal (Hard Rock) Drummer, Fred Coury, played drums for the hard rock music band, Cinderella, among other hard rock bands, including, playing with Poison and Guns N Roses, as a back-up drummer; Coury has composed for many Hollywood Films and Television Shows, including, Hannah Montana: The Movie, The Night Shift, High School Musical 3, Gene Simmons: Family Jewels, among many others! Arab-American Lowell, Massachusetts-born, Mezzo-Soprano Opera Singer, Rosalind Elias, in 1954, began her professional opera singing career at the Metropolitan Opera, also known as The Met, in New York City, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in Washington DC, among many American and International performance venues, playing and singing the role of Erika, in the opera, Vanessa; the role of Laura, in the opera, La Gioconda, among many other operas and roles!
