Spotted Sandpiper. I waded through Knox Lake here in Ohio, to an area where I had a clear view of a sandbar, hoping something would come along. I sat in full camouflage and, sure enough, this Sandpiper showed up and spent about an hour running around on the sandbar. For this shot, it actually flew closer to me, onto this log, where it stayed only for a brief amount of time. It was pretty neat blending right into the surroundings and seeing various critters go about their lives as though I wasnt even there. f/8 ISO 400 1/1600 600mm (Tamron 150-600) facebook/bradimhoffphotography
