Spotted Steve Rigbys letter in latest issue of @WSC_magazine about #mcfc loyalty, so heres the full table of attendance figures for the 1998-99 season. City were in their lowest ever position that season with a stadium capacity of about 31,000 including a fixed away section of about 2,500-3,000 depending on opponent. This means that the home seats were sold out for almost every game. Therefore those asking Where were you when you were **** should perhaps take a look at this table. Ive also included the table for 1982-83 (a relegation season for City!) and 1930-31. Chelsea did well for support in 1930-31 but their fans may not want to be reminded of their support in 1982-83. Similarly, MUFC had a really bad period in the 1930s as this chart shows. These tables are from Brian Tabners book on attendances.
