Spotted taied quoll or tiger quoll is an Australian native animal - TopicsExpress

Spotted taied quoll or tiger quoll is an Australian native animal about the size of a domestic cat, but legs are much shorter and face is more pointed. Nose is pink and used constantly to sniff out what’s going on around. I’m pretty good-looking, my fur is a rusty dark-brown colour and I have handsome white spots on my back and tail. No other Australian animal has spots on its tail, which makes me pretty easy to remember. Tiger by name, Tiger by nature, I mostly sleep during the day and hunt at night. I am Australia’s second largest carnivorous marsupial and I use my strong body and teeth to capture and eat my prey. Despite my short legs, I’m highly mobile and spend my waking hours travelling many kilometres around my home range searching for mates, fighting with other quolls and eating everything in my path. This fast-pace of living means that my life expectancy is very short. I am the James Dean of Australian Wildlife.
