Spring 2013: Final Exams starts from 12th August, 2013 12:00 am Qatar time السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I hope you are doing well and ever increasing state of emaan. In sha Allaah, the Spring 2013 semester final examinations will start from Monday,12th August, 2013. Please note the exam schedule carefully: Normal exam period: Monday,12th August, 2013 (12:05 am, Qatar time) to Monday,19th August, 2013 (11: 55 pm, Qatar time). 19th August, 2013, 11:55 p.m. Qatar Time - Deadline expires for completing the post midterm module/session tests for students who wrote exams in the Normal Exam Period Late exam period: Wednesday, 21st August, 2013 (12:05 am, Qatar time) to Sunday,25th August, 2013 (11:55 pm, Qatar time). Rules to be followed at the exam center: o It is the responsibility of the students to decide with their centers, the dates and times on which they take their exams within the given period. IOU staff should not be contacted regarding this issue. o Students are required to take their Photo Ids (national identity card, passport, etc). These will be checked by the proctor to establish the identity of the students before allowing them to take the exams. o Students are allowed to use a blank paper and a pencil in Arabic courses’ final exams if needed for analyzing the Arabic structure of the sentences o Students are not allowed to save the exams questions/answers in any way or form and take them home along with them. o Students should follow Islamic etiquette and avoid any form of cheating or malpractices during the exams. Very strong disciplinary action will be taken by the IOU administration against the students caught doing so. May Allaah (SWT) make the exams easy for you, help you to succeed in them with good scores and retain and implement what you have learnt throughout your lives (Ameen).
