Spring Meadows Monday Scramble Results 4-28 Opening night for the Monday Night Scramble included 10 teams in the field. 4 teams fired a -4 (31) on the front 9. Taking the overall Gross honors were David Sands, Kenny Sands, Sohka Meas, and Scarlett Smith. First Net belonged to Tim Frederick, Bill Hall, Rich Thibodeau, and Seth Chim with a Net score of 31-26.7. Finishing 2nd Gross and anchored by Phil Morse’s closest to the pin on #6 were Wayne Morse, Phil Morse, Bill Morrison, and Mick Rokowski. They also shot 31. 2nd Net belonged to David Rocheleau, Morgan Rocheleau, and Greg LaChance. The Super Senior All-Stars, making their 2014 debut, showed some signs of rust as the team was 0-8 on Par 3’s and really struggled with the cold weather as they could only make 2 birdies and finished with a 33. Team chemistry was missing along with the music as they seem to have a plan to solve that issue. We look forward to more seasoned scoring out of this bunch as weather improves. In the meantime, it appears that the rest of the teams seem to be closing the gap as the intimidation factor fades (or shanks). Next Scramble is scheduled for Monday, May 5th at 5PM.
