Spring is just around the corner and Thurston Creek Campground will be opening on May 15/14 until October 15th/14. for its second season. If you want to come somewhere to relax, listen to the beautiful river, enjoy nature...than this is the place for you. We have 31 full service sites(Water, Electrical & Sewer) and 6 un-serviced sites. We have a washroom building - wheelchair assessable with pay showers, a small playground, a washer toss, & horseshoe pits. Each site has plenty of room and has a picnic table and fire pit. We sell firewood. We are located at an awesome location - less than 4 kilometers off the highway 103 in Clyde River, Nova Scotia. We are very close to a local convenience store- Riverside Convenience(which sells homemade baked goods and a lot more), very close to the local Golf Course- Riverhills Golf & Country Club and very close to a local restaurant - Thomsons Restaurant and Dairy Bar. We are only 20 minutes from the town of Shelburne and from the town of Barrington. We are located directly on the beautiful Clyde River - you can swim, go tubing, canoeing, kayaking and much, much more. If you want to come seasonal, we welcome you.
