Springdale FFA competed in the Arkansas FFA State Career - TopicsExpress

Springdale FFA competed in the Arkansas FFA State Career Development Event Evaluation last Friday. Springdale FFA finished 6th place in Agriculture Communications, and 8th place in Food Science. Moreover, Taylor Webb finished 13th high individual in the State for Agriculture Communications. We are proud of our students for finishing within the top ten throughout our state collectively. The high point of State FFA Contest was our ongoing rice research project by Samuel Satterfield and Hunter Sargent. Samuel and Hunter finished first place in the Food Science Agriculture Science fair. This is a huge win for our school and students. Samuel and Hunter have worked collaboratively on this research project for two years, and have gain much notoriety from Rice research specialists. This recognition supports the ongoing development of the Springdale High School Food Science program, and the addition of the Agriculture Academy this upcoming school year.
