Springfield Students Show Off Their Dance Moves Springfield, MASS (WGGB) – On Saturday the Springfield community came out to support local kids in a ballroom dance competition. Kids from Milton Bradley School, Dryden Memorial School, Gerena Community School, Kensington International School, Sumner Ave. School, Warner School and Zanetti Montessori School came out to show off their dance skills on the Symphony Hall Stage. Students have been working on their dance routines since October. The competitors showed the judges their skills by performing the Tango, Cha Cha, Fox Trot, Merengue, Waltz and more. This is the ninth annual Over the To: Ballroom Dance Project. The goal of this project is to encourage children to take risks, build self esteem, promote good sportsmanship and respectful attitudes.
