Spunky cant take the extreme cold anymore. Just like last year, when he is out in the bitter air for 5 minutes, he starts going lame, stumbles, falls down or sits, then shakes so hard. :( ...He might try to go potty, but falls over. I have to pick him up and carry him back to the house becasue he cant walk. Spunky is even cold in the house anymore inspite of his thick coat. I had my robe and nightgown thrown over a chair and Mr. Smartie Pants snuggled up between them...So cute!...I am afraid that being almost 12 years old is taking its toll on Spunky.... :( He even whimpers very softly when he is sitting next to me on the couch...perhaps arthritis...This air is very hard on me as well...I walk to work in this cold and I want to cry sometimes...but I cry more for my little dog...I love him so much...I really only have him and God...I would feel so alone if I lost Spunky even though I know it will happen someday. He has been a joy! This little guy got me through a lot of hard times...I always thank God for him in my life!
