Spurs to ‘use Nacer Chadli’ to beat Arsenal to Morgan Schneiderlin Former Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino is ready to offer Nacer Chadli to his former club in his efforts to land Morgan Schneiderlin. Spurs boss Pochettino is desperate for Schneiderlin to join him at White Hart Lane and will use Belgium winger Chadli as bait, claims The Sun. Schneiderlin is linked with a £20m move to Tottenham, although north London rivals Arsenal are also keen on landing the 24-year-old France international. Now, Chadli, aged 25, could be offered as a sweetener in the deal. The Belgium international joined from Dutch side FC Twente last summer, but has failed to hold down a regular starting spot at Spurs. He cost around £7m last year. Despite Saints’ exodus this summer, left wing is one of the few areas that Saints have signed a replacement, with Ronald Koeman bringing in Dusan Tadic to fill the void left by skipper Adam Lallana.
