#Squats are a powerhouse exercise that will help you build tree trunk legs. Don’t expect huge strength gains in other areas of your workout if you aren’t doing squats. Squats work your Quads, Glutes, Calves, Hamstrings along with a host of other upper body and core muscle groups. One important thing to remember is that squats need to be performed safely and with proper form. Not doing so may put you at risk for injury. The best thing to recommend with squats is to ALWAYS start out light until you know what you are comfortable with. If you are not practicing proper squat form, there is no reason to even do them because you can put your lower back at an immense risk.
