Squats are an essential part of that leg workout! Hitting higher volume has allowed more growth to take place these last 7 weeks. Right now hitting all muscle groups 2 x a week to really push the volume component for MPS to take place more often. My joints are a lot more happier and my muscles are experiencing DOMS, a nice combo if you ask me. Its not about training to complete failure with each workout. Its a fine balance! Train hard, train smart and dont be afraid to experiment with other training protocols because at the end of the we all respond a little different and take different concepts to fit our bodies.
