Squeak update: I had a long conversation with Sean, Squeaks - TopicsExpress

Squeak update: I had a long conversation with Sean, Squeaks owner, a few weeks ago. He agreed to take him to get his rabies by the end of that week (he didnt) and to work harder to keep him from running around Arden (which he seems to have done). There was a potential foster for Squeak but when she saw how wild & crazy he is, she realized she wouldnt be able to handle him. In the meantime I got him scheduled for an appointment for free neutering and vaccines at Faithful Friends on Oct. 1. Heres the issue: the appointment is in my name but it needs to be in Seans name as the dogs owner but Im afraid he wont take him to the appointment which will not only suck for Squeak but for other dogs on the long waiting list. Also, a friend and I are willing to work with Squeak to help train him but not until hes had his rabies vaccine. If Im in town Im willing to take him to his appointment on the 1st but I cant do it alone. Its not safe to drive with him in the car (even in a crate); not because hes aggressive (hes not!) but because hes like a wild, ill-mannered testosterone laden teenager with ADD. I welcome suggestions as well as a possible new & better home for him. Sean still wants to re-home him.
