Sr. Merchandiser (Home Textile) Job Code: SMT-2013 Job Location: Noida Job Description: This position requires a thorough understanding of merchandising with minimum 6 years experience in an Export House of Home Textiles. Supervise a team of 4 (four) merchandisers to fulfill buyer requirements. Correspond and get approvals from the buyer/buying agencies for, samples, labeling, packaging, quality, etc. Set and monitor T&A in a systematic way through procedures/standards. Ensure the order specification are followed and coordinate with the production team for timely deliveries. Place and follow up purchase orders with suppliers, when required source new vendors and compare quotes. Functional Area: Management Functional Role: Head/VP/GM-Client Servicing Candidate Requirement Should have a Diploma in Textiles from NIFT, IIHT Varanasi or similar. Aged 30 to 35 years, a good organizer, proactive willing team player having an eye for detail and an even temperament. Good command in written and spoken English, excellent computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, Outlook is a must..
