Sr. Pre-Qualification Specialist Location : Abu Dhabi based – Contract Hire Duration : Long Term Salary : Pls mentioned your current and expected salary Closing Date : 15.09.2013 Send CV thinkpluscareer@gmail Purpose • To assess and evaluate the capabilities, experience and products range of supplies for pre-qualification and registration, to review the performance reports and to maintain the Commercial Directory data bank Main Accountability • To review, assess and update suppliers pre-qualification in line with procedures. Registration & pre-qualification requests & applications submitted by the suppliers through the e-Registration system for first registration & update. Coordinate and conduct site surveys at suppliers’ premises to assess their capabilities • To provide day to day support to Company users and suppliers related to commercial directory and/or e-Registration system • To prepare the agenda and forms related to the suppliers’ cases which will be submitted to SPQC members. Act as Secretary of SPQC • To upload data from e-Registration applications after obtaining the SPQC approvals • To assist in the development of reports in the Commercial Directory to easily pass the information to end users and to the suppliers • To review suppliers’ performance, as required, to ensure the necessary action related to inactivation or suspension of registration • To assist to develop and improve applicable pre-qualification and registration forms/templates, Product Groups and Work Groups lists and assessment procedures • To assist to develop, coordinate and review the requirements for any enhancement of the Commercial Directory or of the e-registration systems. • To coordinate with ADCCI to obtain soft copy of Abu Dhabi Local Companies renewed licenses expiry dates for uploading in Commercial Directory to ensure the data integrity and correctness • To assist company users to obtain details relevant to Qualified Contractors, Vendors & manufacturers Product / Work Groups • To analyze reports; resolve and test any problem encountered by the supplier on the e-Registration system and/or by Company users in the e-Registration system or commercial directory in coordination with Company IT and concerned consultant, proposed system enhancement, if required • To maintain data in the Commercial Directory by uploading it from the e-Registration system or and generates related reports to check registration validity of suppliers, product group, work group and other information • To conduct awareness sessions to End Users for Bidders list Selection in the best method and techniques available in the Commercial Directory Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering • 8 years or above relevant material support and pre-qualification experience in a large organization within oil/gas sector • Good knowledge of English
