Sri:(Nov 23-26) Jai Sanathana Dharma! Jai Sri Rama SR_BR Baghavat Ramanuja! We were with Ramanuja at Delhi when Ramapriyan came running and sat on his lap and we noted that every one present there was dumbfounded at the development.The Sultan was dazed, he could not believe that an idol would be there with his little daughter and being worshiped. But then, he being a balanced man accepted the reality. He was astonished to see the love between Ramanuja and Ramapriyan, his kul-devata. HE was hidden for centuries in Karnataka, came to Delhi, appeared before Ramanuja in his dreams to pilot to him to the exact spot from Melkote and; came running to him just at his call! In the circumstances, the Sultan agreed readily to allow Ramanuja to take Ramapriyan, his selva-pillai-Ethiraja Sampathkmaran, along with him to Melkote. After formal farewell , Ramanuja left Delhi along with his Selva-pillai towards Melkote not knowing who was following HIM. Any guess?Yes, it was the little daughter of the Sultan of Delhi. She followed Him out of her Bhakti, intense divine love*. It came as a surprise to all. But when BR noted that They are inseparable . And he decided to bind them on a permanent basis through their marriage on a later date. He got it solemnized after the team reached Melkote. *We cannot see what Ramanuja saw in their divine friendship. It is not a mater of ordinary casually spoken term love but beyond that .It is not a case of any isms but pure devotional love well exhibited through the little ons care to Ramapriyan and treating Ramapriyan as worshipful. And, following Him like a true follower would do.Ramanuja on his part would have seen the better aspects of the whole affair, after all his Selva pillai had allowed her to worship him over some period of time. What ever one may say it was revolutionary step taken by BR in the interest of Ramapriyan, the utsavamurty of Thirunarayanan who had come out of His hiding,since kruta yuga, to show up to Ramanuja to install Him for public darshan at Melkote and hold utsavams. Really a classic example that HE, Sreeman Narayanan , is there from the very beginning for all who need Him. We have to go to Him,serve Him to get blessed. The little one ,called Beevi Nachhiyar, had shown us the way to attain His grace! Ramanuja caused another a flutter in the society of that day during this travel from Delhi with his Selva -pillai. SR is for all and not for select few.We shall see that signal when we meet next through the Post, when He wills. Jai Acharya Ramanuja - A Multif-faceted Leader!
