Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva- 2014- First Day Morning 25 09 2014-Prasanthi Nilayam In the first day of Gramaseva, the following villages, Puttaparthi Mandal, Anantapur District were served with Clothing & Prasadam. Kotturu + SC Colony, Danduvaripalli, Satharapalli, Guvalaguttapalli, Pedapalli + Agi Andhra Veedhi, Pedapalli Tanda + Chinna Tanda, Konapuram, Marlapalli, Rachuvarupalli, Buggapalli, Kotlapalli + Harijan Colony + 2 Annexures, Nidimamidi, Kattivaripalli, Gajulapalli, Subbarayanapalli, Digguvacherupalli & E-Gangireddypalli + Tanda. Grama Seva is an annual event, which began under the direct guidance of Bhagawan Baba Varu in the year 2000. The main purpose of Grama Seva project is three-fold: viz., 1) To assure the rural inhabitants on the care by Sri Satha Sai Gramaseva movement, 2) To put across the needs of the community to the students, and 3) To make available a revelation to project management and team-building for the students. Many villagers have expressed their gratitude for the care they receive through this project. In the process, the Villagers too develop attachment to their village. Earlier at 0730 hrs Kalasha Sthapanam & Puja were performed in the Mandir, Sai Kulwant Hall. The Veda Purusha Saptaha Jnana Yajnam will commence at Poorna Chandra Auditorium in the morning hours and the Prasanthi Vidwan Maha Sabha will commence in the evening at Kulwanth hall, on 27 09 2014, being part of Dasara Celebrations.
