Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Satsang today These days in Navaratri - TopicsExpress

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Satsang today These days in Navaratri you keep silence, I’ll also keep silence. We will do silent communication. You ask your questions in silence and you will see that you will get the answers too. These days I’m doing more and more.. silent dialogue. There is nothing to ask, there is nothing to say anyway. So become hollow and empty. Just sit and let go. Once you let go already it is there. The energy is there. You simply have to loosen up, there energy is right there with you. How many of you felt a difference as soon as you came in? (Many raise their hands). It happens. You feel the energy vibrations as soon as you relax. You have to do nothing.. All that you need to do is just relax and automatically everything will happen. Ques: How do we decide when we are confused? #SriSri: Turn and see this is not the first time you have been confused. You have crossed that hurdle or not? In life you face obstacles, you deal with them and move on. You look back at your own experience and see this is not the first time that you have faced this.. You have come out of everything thing. Just remember one thing, I’m a devotee and only good will happen to me. I belong to the One whose world this is and only good will happen to me. I will get the best of the best. Just like a mother provides only the best to the child. The love that the infinite has for you, is a hundred times more than the love a mother has for its child. Ques: How can I become an able disciple? Just keeping this thought with you, walk ahead. If you embrace knowledge, then you will be an able disciple. Walk on the right path. Ques: Is there anyone who is higher than the Gods? #SriSri: I have spoken about this in my discourse on the Upanishads. There are Yakshas, Gandharvas, Kinnars, Devatas, then Siddhas, then Gurus. They are the highest. That is why on the ninth day of Navaratri, we perform Rishi Homa, puja for the Gurus. That is very important. Ques: How can I get a sharp intellect? #SriSri: Do Pranayama, meditation & keep yourself busy. Do something you find difficult. Ques: Lord Krishna says I am Time. Can you please explain the notion that past, present and future are occurring simultaneously. #SriSri: Just for a moment rise above all that is happening. See that now is the time, the past is the time, the future is the time. Where is this time in the dimension of consciousness? For moment you think that I am not on this Earth. You are somewhere in the galaxy. You will see that the entire world is in space, in stillness. Nothing is there. A sense of timelessness dawns in you. And this is what happens in deep meditation as well. You don’t know anything but you know you ‘are’. SO in this context Krishna has said, I am past present, future, everything is happening in Me. It is like an aerial view of the river. If you are standing in the river, you can see water is coming and going away from you. But in the aerial view you see, the water is everywhere, from the source to the end. Same way when you are on the coast, you see the waves coming. But when you see from the aeroplane, you simply see a white border around the coast. You don’t see the waves then, you see it as static.. From one angle you see this whole drama of life, birth, death etc, it is a phenomena and there is something in you that is beyond the phenomena, is untouched by the phenomena. And that is what Krishna says, I am time which is beyond the past, present and future.
