Sri Teerth ji reached in disaster hit area of Rudraprayag District from July 2, to July 4, 2013. His support & deep interaction boosted the moral of root level party workers, locals & employees working day and night in this gloomy situation. Teerth ji preferred the wash out roads and meet the families of victims in recent flash flood instead of Helicopter flights in Guptkashi, Rudurpur, Narayankoti, Phata, Rampur, Sitapur, Sonprayag, Ganganagar, Vijayanagar, Agustmuni , Silli and other worst hit sites. Teerth ji visited the relief camp of GIC Guptkashi, GIC Agustmuni and motivated the workers and grieved families. Worst hit sites are very close to power plants in sonprayag, Kund, Vijayanagar in Rudarprayag district, Kharadi & Maneri in Uttarkashi district, Lambagar, Vishnuprayag in Chamoli district, Srinagar garhwal in Pauri district. The bed level of rivers likes Yamuna, Mandakini, Alaknanda and Ganga surprisingly risen up to 10 to 20 mtrs with silt and boulders and width of the rivers has gone in some places about 500 mtrs. Now people believe that these power plants are mahakal to Uttrakhand.
