Srinagar\15\\: On the appeal of chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Sayed Ali Geelani, people all over the state held peaceful protest demonstration and took out rallies today against the Israeli aggression in Gaza while as the hurriyat leaders Altaf Ahmad Shah, Abdul Ahad Parrah, Firdous Ahmad Shah, Advocate Mohammad Shafi Reshi, Raja Mehraj-ud-Din, Mohammad Yousuf Mujahid, Mohammad Rafiq Ganai, Sayed Imtiyaz Hider, Sayed Mohammad Shafi, Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah and Mohammad Imran participated in the protest demonstration which was held at Budshah Chowk Srinagar. Geelani sahib thanked Kashmiri people for expressing solidarity with their Palestinian brethren and said that this protest demonstration is proof of that if we can’t help them at this time but we equally feel their pain and agony and the killing of their innocent children are very painful for us too. The pro-Islamic leader of Kashmir once again condemned in strong words the double standards of the world community towards the Muslims and said that they are not taking effective steps to end the bloodshed of innocent people in Gaza. Geelani sahib said that the Prime Minister of Israel Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu is the dreaded terrorist of the Jewish world and the American President Mr. Barack Obama and Prime Minister of England Mr. David Cameron are openly patronizing him. The new government in New Delhi is also patting the back of Israel under the curtain and they are happy over the massacre of the Muslims. The pro-Islamic leader said that this situation is lesson for the Muslims of the entire world that Christens, Jews and Hindus are united against them and they are themselves divided into different groups and sects. Somewhere the Muslims are fighting in the name of Shia and Sunni and somewhere the Muslims have been divided into Davoebandi, Baralvi and Salifi. He said that where the anti-Islamic forces are to be blamed for this situation but some so called Muslim countries are also involved in this huge sin of group clashes. Molvies and Mullah type short sighted people who does not understand the message of Islam, are also spreading this hatred among the Muslim Ummah and intentionally or unintentionally they are becoming the helping hands of the enemies of the Islam. While reiterating the appeal for peaceful protest demonstration on 18 July after the Friday prayers, against the Israeli aggression and observing the last Friday of holy month of Ramadan (Jummah-tul-Vidah) as “Youm-ul-Qudus”, Geelani sahib said that the public protest should be dignified, peaceful, organised and disciplined in every way and it should convey a message to the entire world that the pain of the people of Gaza is felt everywhere in the world and all the Muslims of the world are up in protest against this inhumanity.
