Just came back fresh, from a trip to India, memories flash back and gives an overall good feeling.What ever said and done, a trip to India de-stresses all of us. The ordeals encountered too is enjoyable in every sense. Imagine a ride in an auto rickshaw through the narrow lanes of the city with continuous honking all the way ,loud speakers tied to some poles or lamp posts blasting to the maximum deafening the ears in the process, someone giving a speech from a temporary stage/platform in support of some initiatives, the shock absorber of the auto tested to the limits due to bumpy roads, some roads blocked with a sign board saying “Take diversion”, the auto driver asking for extra money always, with a meter which has never started rolling and so on and so forth. It is a fun to travel in auto rickshaw anyways. It will be refreshing to drink sugar cane juice, at least two glasses to quench our thirst due to high humidity ,some times quenching the thirst by drinking fresh tender coconut syrup ,waiting to taste the lovely soft coconut given by the vendor by splitting the tender coconut,(I still fail to understand how that knife got sharpened so nicely). Visiting relatives travelling by mofussil buses for three to four hours, stopping in between for 15 minutes for breakfast or dinner depending on the time of the day, what a pleasure it is. Eating is never a problem ,with so many hotels spread around and you get what you like the most .You are your own master in our place India and every moment is to be cherished and no other country can provide the amount of satisfaction you get when you are in India. The vacation gets over in no time and it leaves a sad feeling to leave India and come back for livelihood. But this is life and it lies in our hand to make full use of our time during the vacation in India.
