St. Anastasia Junior Athletic League Basketball 2014 Directed by Hall of Fame Coach Mike Leatherwood The Junior Athletic League is a volunteer-sponsored athletic program for students in grades Pre-K (age 5) through 4th grade. This program meets on Saturday mornings from 8:30-10 a.m. This is not a competitive league. The league aims to teach the fundamentals of the game and to have fun! Each athlete will receive a t-shirt and an end of the year pizza party. 2014 Basketball Season Pre-K (age 5) - 4th grade Feb. 1-March 15 No practice/game: Feb. 15 Instruction in basic fundamentals in basketball including dribbling, passing, shooting & rebounding. Registration form with payment (check or St. As Payment Plan) must be returned to school office by Friday, Jan. 31. We will begin on Saturday, Feb. 1 and our last day of play and pizza party will be on Saturday, March 15. (no games/practice on 2/15). The cost is $45 per athlete. Please send payment (check or St. As Payment Plan) with the registration form to the school office. Registration forms will be sent in tomorrows Thursday folder.
