St. Charles Community College has multiple openings for a 30-hour Childcare Worker. This position assists with the personal needs and supervision of children. Works in partnership with their supervising teachers to implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in their care. Follows all the policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the Child Development Center. Knows and follows Missouri licensing and sanitation regulations for child care centers. Hours: Monday - Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (may vary) Qualifications: One college class in an early childhood related field or equivalent. Preference is given to candidates that have an AA or higher in an early childhood related field. Must meet DHSS qualifications. Must be at least eighteen years of age.
