Stabbing incidents, Gold Coast Two men were hospitalised on the Gold Coast overnight with stab wounds with police continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding both incidents. Around 8pm last night a 28-year-old Surfers Paradise man presented to a Gold Coast hospital with two stab wounds to his body. He is presently in the Intensive Care Unit. Due to the man’s condition police have been unable to speak him about how he sustained his injuries. Around 4am this morning a 27-year-old Southport man was located on Benowa Road at Benowa with a single stab wound to his body. He was transported to hospital where it is expected he will undergo surgery. Police are yet to interview the man due to his condition. It is unknown at this stage if these incidents are linked however police are continuing their investigations. No further details are available at this time
