Stability Ball Glute-Ham Curls are a great alternative to Leg - TopicsExpress

Stability Ball Glute-Ham Curls are a great alternative to Leg Curls and Glute-Ham Raises for training knee flexion. I use the eccentric variation shown in the video below to progress clients from the two-legged variation (both feet on the ball) to the full one-legged variation. One foot is used during the eccentric (lowering) phase of the movement, when you are strongest, while two legs are used to help you during the concentric phase (lifting), when you are weaker. I suggest you do this exercise for 3 sets of 3-8 reps/leg later in your workout after a primary strength exercise like squats. Make sure you check out the description below the video for further instructions on technique. Like this video? I am in the midst of producing many more like it. I would love your feedback on how I can make videos like these better. What would you like to see? Let me know in the comments!
