Stability, security and ego to some extent, people just cant accept the CHANGE. They develop barriers in form of theories to discredit changes and protect their old stand even if it is based on illogical claims and is just developed to satisfy their ego. They think that accepting the change would showcase their weakness to take a right decision when they had the time, or maybe they keep everything in their life below their ego levels. In fact intellects are no exception to this observation. Strange it is!
