Stacey Branning is finally won over by Dean Wicks on EastEnders later this month as she agrees that they should become a proper couple. The flatmates have recently enjoyed a fling, but Stacey has so far resisted the temptation to make things more serious with Dean. A turning point in the pairs relationship arrives in the run-up to Christmas when Dean looks after Staceys daughter Lily while she is busy solving Kat Moons latest crisis. Starting to see Dean as someone she can truly rely on, Stacey is grateful for his support and agrees that they can get together properly. While Dean is delighted over his new romance, word quickly gets back to Linda Carter and she is immediately concerned over Staceys wellbeing. Traumatised after being raped by Dean in October, Linda is the only person who knows what he is really capable of. When Linda rushes over to see Stacey, she is still unable to bring herself to tell the truth, but the fear in her eyes is all too familiar for Stacey and she realises something is terribly wrong. Tabloid reports have already revealed that Linda will ultimately tell Stacey the whole truth this month, but viewers will have to wait and see exactly when the revelation takes place.
