Stacy: Friendly Warning- Tonights a Long post. Is it normal to be so nervous about getting a dog? Lol I know once he comes in the door tomorrow, all my fears will be gone. I know we are making the right decision for Tripp and our family. Plus Bill has always had dogs so he can show me the ropes. The video shows that Tripp is excited! And as the saying goes the squeaky wheel gets the oil We got our insurance changed so everything is good again! Took some pleading emails and phone calls but it worked! Having the right insurance is so important with all Tripps co pays, hospital stays, meds, therapy, etc.. Everyone makes mistakes (us) but glad we got it fixed, So Stress level dropped a full notch today. Next, going to brag for a second. I am a good mommy. Because... I couldnt stand the Lego movie when I saw it at the movies. (No offense Lego lovers) But I made myself watch it with Tripp today to see if he liked it. Of course he did and I liked it a tad better this time. So I will be watching it again. For Tripp. And I have to admit when I finally finished my 4000 loads of laundry today, I ran around the house singing Everything is awesome lol Really is a great song. Tripp has had a laid back day. He has smiled and talked a lot. Love days like this. We all need those. This weekend will be big for him with our new addition. Buster Bear Halstead. 13 weeks weighing in at 23 pounds. So sad that some of my special needs parents are having a hard time with the crazy people in the world. Stay strong! It gets to me too when people post mean things about my family on Tripps page. AND, this is a big AND, FB is public no matter how private you think your private page is. Someone knows someone who knows someone that follows Tripps page and it always gets back to me. Just saying. Gotta love being copied in on posts that go something like this.. Not going to say her name but... Then lists everything they think I am doing wrong. Omg, she posts about that time of the month umm, yes I do because women relate to it and it is a huge PMS issue for me and affects the way I take care of Tripp. She talks about her sons poop and throw up why yes I do, that is a big part of life when you have a kid. Special needs or not. She only posts to get attention Isnt that why your posting too? At least I am bringing awareness to raising a child with special needs, the good bad and ugly, day to day living a life you had not planned, not bashing people. Geezzz. And heres the real kicker, I have never asked you guys to read my page. You do or you wouldnt know this about me. Boom!
