Stacy Griffin This is not intended to provoke any of my Christian friends other than to that of the current warfare. I love to post Bible verses, hymns, and to speak of Gods love but what is needed more is for you to make the sacrifice and get engaged in todays battle. More than ever, the enemy of God & the Bible is wrestling to over turn our good laws, we cant afford to sit by and allow this to happen we need you to call your elected officials and be counted among the righteous who sigh & cry over the abominations of the wicked. No wonder when Churchill met Roosevelt to discuss the waging war of 41, he choose Onward Christian Soldiers. No wonder lukewarm churches seek to throw it out of their hymns. This was said of that meeting, When Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt met in 1941 on the battleship HMS Prince of Wales to agree the Atlantic Charter, a church service was held for which Prime Minister Churchill chose the hymns. He chose Onward, Christian Soldiers and afterwards made a radio broadcast explaining this choice: We sang Onward, Christian Soldiers indeed, and I felt that this was no vain presumption, but that we had the right to feel that we serving a cause for the sake of which a trumpet has sounded from on high. When I looked upon that densely packed congregation of fighting men of the same language, of the same faith, of the same fundamental laws, of the same ideals ... it swept across me that here was the only hope, but also the sure hope, of saving the world from measureless degradation. —Winston Churchill
