Stacy: I am literally a hot mess. Crystal and MJ came over and we walked two miles this afternoon. (Uphill both ways) Why is it so hot in October??? I had Tripp in long sleeves and pants. Took one step outside and changed him into a t shirt and rolled up his pants. Took off his socks. Those little piggies need some sun before his casts go on. He wore his stylish prescription sunglasses from Thomas Eye Center. He seemed so content the whole time. The tomato push stroller we bought has been a great investment. He has already had a good shower this morning. I steamed up the bathroom really good and we stayed in there a while for his congestion. It seems much better today. I think the combo of Vicks, mucinex, nose spray, steam shower, lots of patting on the back and snuggles are making him better. We are headed to the Fall Festival at Tripps school when Halstead gets home. I am so hot and tired, I am not in the mood to go but I know Tripp loves being outside and it should be fun. We are having some lunch right now and watching A Knights Tale (great movie by the way) I am loving feeding him home blended foods through his tube. He seems more content and happier with a belly of food instead of formula. And we can take his Real Meal blends we got to the hospital with us. realfoodblends is so awesome for times like this. I know the hospital is required to feed Tripp what we do at home, so they can mix up whatever we ask but this will just be easier on everyone. I started my list this morning of what to pack for our hospital stay. Mostly my stuff, they will have everything Tripp needs. Diapers, wipes, meds, etc.. Well if we are going to make this festival, I have to shower. Thank you all for the prayers and support.. Love you all.
