(Staffing) Electronic Assembly Arab, Al $10.00 an hour Temporary, Full-time Day High School Diploma or Equivalent No exp. required Assembly of electronics. Will be using tools, soldering iron and the like to assembly electronics from start to finish. Position located in Arab, AL area. •Assembles and tests moderately complex circuit boards and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Installs wires, leads and a variety of thru-hole components. Solders components and leads. May be required to pick parts from the warehouse. •Troubleshoots minor assembly problems. •Visually inspects and performs minor repairs and rework. •Performs basic calibration using existing test setups or procedures. Uses a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments. •Sets up automated assembly machines, making necessary machine adjustments for start up and operation. •Transfers finished boards and sub-assemblies to appropriate work area. •Completes and maintains relevant paperwork and inputs information in computer system. Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions: •Demonstrated proficiency in soldering. •Ability to identify electronic components. •Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures. •Ability to understand standard units of measure. •Ability to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices. •Ability to sometimes lift, carry, push and pull up to 75 pounds without assistance. •Ability to use power and hand tools. •Ability to regularly perform work that requires magnification may be required. •Ability to regularly perform fine finger and hand activity / steady hand required. •Ability to concentrate for prolonged periods of time. •Ability to learn to operate a forklift Surge Staffing: Visit surgestaffing to apply for this position.
