A heavy equipment mechanic with minimum 5 years experience on Caterpillar (preferably), Terex and MAN machinery. Ex-dealer experience would be an advantage, but is not mandatory. Candidates must show initiative and drive. Must have a valid professional driver’s license. ENGINE SPECIALIST Not more than 47 years old. A qualified earthmoving equipment mechanic with minimum 5 years experience in a mining environment. Must be fully conversant with overhaul to Caterpillar standards of some of the following units: CAT 3306, 3408, 3176, C9, C11, C15 and C18. Candidates will also have experience on engine electronics (ECM’s and ACERT). Ex-dealer personnel preferred. Basic computer skills are required. Must have a valid professional driver’s license. AUTO ELECTRICIAN Not more than 47 years old. A certified master auto electrician or equivalent. Minimum 5 years experience of Caterpillar auto electrics. This must include full knowledge of Caterpillar systems and “Electronic Technician”. Should be able to fault find and programme all types of Caterpillar ECM’s using a laptop and flash files. Knowledge of MAN, Volvo, and Toyota trucks will be an advantage. Must have a valid professional driver’s license. LIGHT VEHICLE MECHANIC Not more than 47 years old. Must be a qualified diesel mechanic with at least 5 years experience in the repair, overhaul, maintenance and servicing of light and heavy vehicles (MAN, DAF, Mercedes, Toyota, Nissan Pick-ups).
