Stage 16 - Final stage to the finish - Part 1. What a beautiful morning for the last day of the Motorcycle Cannonball. After pulling out of Yakima, we went through more orchards and then we started to climb, and then spending most of our time crossing the Cascades. We must all be getting better at the quick changes in temperature as I didn’t hear any complaints about the cold. There was a lot of excitement with bikes that had not been running coming out to make this last effort to cross the finish line in one way or another. Adrenalin kicked in and the exhaustion seemed to disipate. After we crested the pass, we were struck with spectacular views of Mt Ranier and then we came down into more and more development as we approached Tacoma. (More of Stage 16 to follow)
