Stage 7 - horrendous. Creeping along for last in cat, 68th outright. Dropped to 10th in cat, 34th outright. I dont even look at that shit anymore, its just survival. Cant do anything except soft pedal and try to keep hr down and get to the end. 127km and over 6hrs of fun time, the last 70 into a hot headwind. Lucky it was flat or I wouldnt have got it done. Body no likey bike racing at the moment. Stopped today to assist a collapsed rider, she ended up getting a drip. Also pumped up an Italian guys tyre when his pump wouldnt work. He then appeared after nearly 8 hours of riding haven ridden the last 20k with grass stuffed in the tyre. Drip for him also. This is the part of the field Im riding in do Im probably not far off myself! Be nice to have some horsepower. Tomorrow is a rolly 100km with some sharp climbs toward the end. seriously Im worried about it as was back to first gear for even the smallest gullies today. Guna get it done. Last day is only 40k mostly downhill, so if I can get to the line tomorrow, I can get this done so I dont have to ever come back....team doing great, keep up the good work lads.
