Stage Manager Application Details Reference Number: 4318 20 Stories High are currently recruiting a Stage Manager for our national tour of BLACK. BLACK is a small scale venues and schools and communities tour. The Stage Manager will be responsible for the show and the company on the road, and also for the technical aspects of the tour. They must have excellent company management skills, good technical skills and experience of small scale touring. They must be a highly-organised good communicator and excellent leader. Essential skills and experience: At least 2 years theatre experience Experience of small scale touring Proven ability to manage and motivate staff Good leadership skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal Experience of mixing live sound Knowledge and experience of current Health & Safety issues and practice within the UK performing arts industry Experience of working directly with creative personnel Full, clean driving license, held for at least 2 years An enthusiasm for working with diverse audience and communities Proven ability to play workloads and effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. Fee: ITC/Equity Contract, subsistence, touring allowances and holiday pay. Contract: 12th January – 22nd March 2015.
