Stages of strength and forced/chest reps. I am not encouraging poor form in this video. I am encouraging you to use forced or cheat reps as a tool on the end of your sets (performed with good form and control) to get more out of your training. When your positive strength gives out, your negative strength can still be exercised so surely using cheat reps is better than just deciding to quit, yeah? If you are using momentum or needing assistance on your positive stage of the lift from rep No. 1 then decrease your weight that allows for some strict form repetitions first.
