Pottery and Ceramic has come a long distance from being just functional tableware and decorative pieces. It has evolved as a means to communicate where each piece is a celebration, a creative out pouring in concrete shape and form. Clay is used to give shape to the artist’s experience, sense and imagination. It is a marvel to see the magical transformation of clay which emphasizes anything that has in some manner impacted the artist’s life, be it Wasp like architecture or Seascape landscape; aspects of Tribal life or simple Interaction with nature; Feel of space or Sensual awareness. A tryst with clay teaches discipline, concentration and endurance with fun and helps gain a sense of achievement. kensconnect/magazine/magazine.php?folder=104November2014#book5/page22
