Stairwalk tomorrow morning with Secret Stairs author Charles Fleming. The stairs I am on in my profile picture is on this walk too. I cut and pasted the info. Hiking holidays are happy holidays! Please join me for the last Secret Stairwalk of 2014. Well meet Sunday December 14 at 9:00am at in the parking lot at Roosevelt Municipal Golf Course, in Vermont Canyon, in Los Feliz, just below the Greek Theatre -- at 2650 N. Vermont Avenue. Well walk about 1 1/2 hours, cover about 4 miles, and trudge up (no down stairs on this one!) 463 stairs. Along the way, well take in some good architecture and architecture history (Frank Lloyd Wright!), some great views, some marvelous stairways, and the Griffith Park Observatory. This walk includes some trails, and rates at 4.5 on the patented Secret Stairs difficulty scale. It should be a fine workout. I will have with me a box of books. They make for good stocking stuffer. Its never too late to give the gift that keeps on giving, the gift of life, the gift of stairs .... Hope to see you next Sunday,
