Stamford Bridge boss Jose Mourinho looks to conduct major Bernabeu raid. Chelsea are planning an audacious move to sign a trio of Real Madrid talents according to the Daily Star. Jose Mourinho may well have only recently left the Bernabeu but he is looking to return to the Spanish giants in pursuit of three players he feels can help add quality to his Blues squad. The 50 year old Portuguese boss’s main target is 31 year old Spanish international Xabi Alonso with Mourinho hoping to take advantage of the ongoing contract talks between the former Liverpool man and his Real Madrid side. Mourinho also hopes to lure Luka Modric back to London and given that the Croatian had something of an up and down first term in Spain there is perhaps a decent chance of the former Tottenham man being tempted into a move to Stamford Bridge. The third target is perhaps the least likely of the trio with Jose Mourinho looking to sign highly-rated French centre-back Raphael Varane, a player Real Madrid would surely not consider offers for.
