Stand for something or fall for anything I havent spoken on the Mike Brown situation in Missouri instead i have sat back and watch everyone else give their thoughts on the situation and how they feel. The kid should have never been killed at the end of the day thats all that matters. I dont care what pictures they may pull up of him to represent him in the wrong way in the publics eye. I dont care if it was a ruff neighborhood that he was in when it happen none of that matters a life was taken and a 17 year olds body was laying in the street for everyone to see for a few hours! A 17 year old with a bright future who was headed to college. See what people fail to do is look at life from the eyes of other people and put their feet in our shoes, the shoes of kids born into neighborhoods that are low income. Kids that dont have anyone to look up too no father figures or even any parents in their lives all they see is whats around them when. See ive been blessed enough to see both parts of life the struggle and the better side growing up in some of the worst neighborhoods in my city, thats why Ive never been judgmental of peoples lifestyles because its better to pray for someone then it is to judge them. Ive seen a lot of african american people say why should they respect of if we dont even respect ourselves. Well respect is something thats earned not given but what is the price of respect in some peoples eyes? Yes america is a better place then it once was but racism still exist and will forever so some people wont respect you just because the color of your skin. The protest are much needed while i cant condone the stealing, breaking into stores, and etc i do believe that their voices need to be heard because theyre not only speaking for themselves but for everyone else who has been wrongfully killed as well.
