Stand in your liberty wherewith Christ has made us free,and be not entangle again with the yoke of bondage Gal.5:1. One of the wiles of the devil believers in Christ who have been set freed must stand strong to resist is his tricks of seducing them back to the law of work and empty religion. When paul wrote to the Ephesian brethren to put on the whole armour of God that they may be able to withstand against the wiles of the devil,this was the same issue he was addressing. Satan does not have the power to hurt or harm any child of God just like he had no power to harm the first Adam in eden.His power is resident in his lies to deceive. How does he carry these out? Just the same way he seduced,lured and led Eve away from the simplicity That is in Christ into obeying satan by feeding from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil;through this he attacked them with accusation,guilt condemnation,fear and got them enslaved.This is his trick,his old method of getting believers off the faith. The wiles of the devil is to take Gods people into the law and get them enslaved.Stand against that wisdom from hell and never let anyone get you entangled again with the yoke of the law. The simplicity that is in Christ is simple faith in the finished work of Christ 2000 years ago.This is hard for many because it does not appeal to their carnal mind that simple faith in Christ is enough for salvation.The natural man want to pay the price by doing,working it out through his obedience and then merit the award and get rewarded and applauded.But God says no.Simple faith in the Saviour is all that is required and nothing more. You have nothing to add to your salvation. You have no part to play. You are not the Saviour,Jesus is and He saved you 2000 years before you were born.Believe this good news and stop running away from God.
