Stand on the promises of God. There are several promises that God has given to us that are a firm foundation. We CAN have a relationship with the Almighty God There is the promise of “Salvation” to those who accept Him, His teaching and love Him. He loves us with a love that is unconditional. When we let Him down, He still loves us. When we are at our worst, He still loves us. When we forget about Him, He remembers us. He saves us from the death of sin…. And the promise of “Forgiveness” comes with that love that He has for us…We fail so many times but our God is a God of second, third and fourth chances. If we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive our sin and forgives us from ALL of our unrighteousness. He will pick you up, clean you up, straighten you up, and hold you up…. Never forget the promise of “Comfort”. No one can bring comfort like Christ. He understands our suffering because He has endured the suffering of the cross. He too like you has shed tears…He too has had a broken heart…He too has been betrayed by others…He too has been hated by others…. “Divine fellowship” with Him is another great promise. He will never leave us or forsake us. In the middle of the storms He is there. In the darkest of nights He is there. In our most disappointing time He is there. Matter of fact If you belong to Him, He is right there with you at this moment… So Go ahead and live life but as you do stand on the promises of God
