Standard Appliances Recipe for the day... Chicken Steak ala Pobre Ingredients: 1 K. Whole chicken, deboned (except for the wings), cut into four portions. Marinade: Juice of 1/2 dayap or lemon 1 tbsp. Seasoned pepper of greshly ground peppercorm 4 tbsp. Oyster sauce 4 tbsp. Butter or olive oil 4 tbsp. Minced garlic Procedure: 1 Marinate chicken in ref. overnight. 2 Heat hot plates on 1 burner each. 3 Put 1 tbsp. butter or olive oil on each hot plate. 4 Add 1 tbsp. minced garlic on butter or olive oil to brown. 5 Set aside garlic when browned on one corner of hot plate. 6 Immediately put the chicken steaks on each hot plate, skin side down. 7 When hot plated are very hot, lower heat. 8 Turn the chicken over after 5 minutes or when skin-side is cooked. 9 Serve immediately wihile it is still sizzling. Serves 4.
