Standing On Gods Promises God has made numerous promises in the bible in both the Old and New Testaments and God has never failed to keep His promises. God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change his mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through? Numbers 23:19, 1 Samuel 15:29 (NLT). It is wonderful to be able to trust (have faith) in God and His promises. It is the same with My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. Isaiah 55:11 (NLT). With mankind, nothing is really dependable and you cannot bank on the promises of men; but, God says: Heaven and earth will disappear, but My words will never disappear. Matthew 24:35 (NLT). Gods words are life and create life: Your eternal word, O Lord, stands firm in heaven. Psalms 119:89 (NLT). By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at Gods command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. Hebrews 11:3 (NLT). God creates all things by the word of His mouth: The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. Psalms 33:6 (NLT). When God makes a promise, His living word goes forth to accomplish that promise. Let every created thing give praise to the Lord, for He issued His command, and they came into being. Psalms 148:5 (NLT). Find your problems in the word of God and see the promises that God made concerning them. You can stand on those promises! And now in these final days, He (God) has spoken to us through His Son (Jesus) (Yeshua). God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son, He created the universe. Hebrews 1:2 (NLT). for through Him (Jesus), God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we cant see: such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through Him (Jesus) (Yeshua) and for Him. Colossians 1:16 (NLT).
