Standing in Confidence, Preparing for Sunday’s Capricorn Solar Festival (at the time of the Full Moon – the 1st of 2015). Unfolding the 8th petal in the Heart Lotus (Anahata), that of Scorpio. Sirius (where Love originates, where Christ came from) opposite the Sun. Friday, January 2, 2015 – Friday is overseen by Venus – unifying all dualities. Today is our 1st day of preparation for Sunday night’s full moon. The Capricorn Solar Festival, 14.31 degrees Capricorn. Sirius is 13 degrees Cancer. We thus have the continuation of the opposition of Sirius in Cancer & the Sun in Cap. Oppositions bring about synthesis & integration. Capricorn’s rays are the Knowledge Rays – 1, 3 & 7. The anchoring (7) of the Will to Good (1) & Divine Intelligence (3). With Sirius opposite the Sun in Cap, Sirius brings Love/Wisdom into the heart of the matter – Sirius is Ray 2 of Love/Wisdom. Thus balancing Capricorn’s will, purpose & leadership, outward radiating rays of Capricorn (1, 3, & 7) with Love/Wisdom from the heart of the Sun - Jupiter, Ray 2 of Love/Wisdom. All leaders to be true leaders must have the Will & Purpose (Ray 1), the Willingness to lead balanced with Love & Wisdom (Ray 2). Then the lead with a loving mind & an intelligent (Ray 3) heart. Rays 1, 2, 3 are the Three Aspects (the Trinity) of God. *** Confidence We prepare for Sunday’s full moon today with Confidence – it holds our physical brain in Right Thinking. Tomorrow is Aspiration. Sunday is Dedication. *** The Astrology Today (see chart) Sun in Capricorn at 11 degrees (see chart, 10th house) is coming close to Pluto at 13 degrees Cap. Pluto (transformation, things hidden) today is opposite the blue-white star in the sky called Sirius (Love/Wisdom, source of our Hierarchy) – 13 Cancer – opposites synthesize & unify the energies. Today is Gemini moon – (see chart – 3rd house) Gemini receives & distributes Ray 2 (like Sirius). At first with Gemini there’s duality (Mercury’s vast information). Mercury is Gemini’s personality ruler. Then Venus (Gemini’s Soul ruler) steps in & synthesizes & unites the dualities. We will see this occurring today. Let us look for it. *** 8th Day, 8th Petal, Scorpio The 8th Day with the Three Kings the Magi, seeking the Holy Child. Today is the 8th Day After Christmas – reflecting upon the 8th sign – Scorpio. Following the Light of Libra – Scorpio is the Light of Day – the place where three lights meet – 1. the light of form 2. the Light of the Soul 3. the Light of Life itself (Spirit) They meet, they blend, they rise up. Scorpio & Ray 4 Scorpio works with (receives, distributes) Ray 4 – Harmony Through Conflict. All conflict is a “call,” the 1st step toward creating a great harmony in our lives. And Humanity is Scorpio – Hercules struggling through the signs to move from “darkness to light, from death to immortality, from chaos to beauty.” Discipleship Scorpio calls us to discipleship. We must do battle, we struggle as a personality. The Soul calls us. We are given the Nine Tests from Mars. We continue the struggle until one day we surrender, personality to the Soul’s Direction. Then we become “victorious.” The lower is lifted to the higher. Where the “three lights meet.” The Dweller In the past 2-½ years, Hercules (humanity) has been doing battle with the Dweller on the Threshold (Saturn in Scorpio). The Dweller is our past, all that is still yet unredeemed (not held up to the light). All of the past must be brought out of the cave of darkness (unconscious) and out into the Light of Day (waking consciousness, awareness). Up the mountain to the Light Supernal. We began in Aries (the Will-to-Be – Mars), we journeyed into form life, we learned our lessons through each sign, we did battle in Scorpio, we were One-Pointed in Sag. Now we stand on the top of the Capricorn mountaintop in the Light Supernal. Now we are ready to serve in Aquarius & to save in Pisces. We are the Initiate Unicorns now. Our new identity. *** Disciple’s Requirements Requirements of the Disciple (Scorpio is the Disciple) on the Path are: 1. To be cheerful regardless of circumstances. To be cheerful is a choice to be positive and to make light of the situation, which seems difficult & heavy. 2. To be serviceable to all beings - kind, helpful & friendly. 3. To be poised, balanced and peaceful inwardly and outwardly. 4. To be compassionate to all beings & kingdoms. To cooperate with them with Love & Intelligence & Willingness. 5. To surrender the fruits of all actions (seeking nothing in return) and continuing to act. 6. To surrender the distinction of “my people” and “others”. 7. To associate with persons who accomplished the above six qualities. It enables self-release with ease. 8. To study the scriptures (Wisdom teachings) that describe the stories of the Lord in the form of “the Law of God”. The stories of the Realized Ones (saints) hold the key to lift up the awareness of the Disciple. (this is especially important in training the young ones.) 9. Act. Act not for profit, comfort or for success. Act when you must act. This is called duty. 10. Keep motives & intentions pure in all actions. 11 Dissolve opinions and feelings relating to others’ faults. Also, dissolve recollections of personal past difficulties and successes.
