Standing in line at Starbucks waiting to order my very boring tall pike no room. Woman in front of me is buying up all of the gift cards. Its taking her a while, but thats ok. Patience is a virtue I embrace. The people behind me, not so much. A whole two minutes has passed and as you can imagine the mass of people behind me is ready to riot! Im scared of what might happen. What if they start throwing sugar packets around, or straws, what if someone grabs a wooden stirrer and fashions a shank out of it? I quickly put my eye on the exit signs, just in case. Barista apologizes, not sure why, but she does and feels obligated to comp me my coffee. Thank you, that was very nice I thought.
