Standing in the school supply aisle, a stranger who was buying - TopicsExpress

Standing in the school supply aisle, a stranger who was buying supplies for three children asked out loud, how to poor people buy the things on this list? I couldnt help myself. I jumped up and told her, they dont. If you are wondering who buys poor children crayons, pencils, and paper, it is the teacher. After that, she buys tissues, Paper towels, clorox wipes, desk bags, boxes and bins. I am grateful for every pencil that has been given to me for my students. All children, disadvantaged and privileged, need pencils. If you want to get supplies into the hands of a needy child, give it to a teacher.
