Standing ovations for all the young cellists who played during the finale concert, celebrating the winners of the 4th Grand Prix Emanuel Feuermann. Raimund Trenkler, Kronberg Academy´s Artistic Director, welcomed the audience and thanked all the active participants, supporters, musicians, the team and those families who opened their homes to house concerts. Uzi Wiesel, chairman of the jury, offered a couple of advices to the young musicians. Look inside he said and discover yourself. And he added, keep on discovering the richness of music. The cello solo part of the Schumann cello concert was divided between Chiara Enderle and Andrei Ionota while the music continued (!) the change was managed perfectly. The final performance belonged to winner Aurélien Pascal, who superbly interpreted the Toch composition. An unforgettable Sunday concert in Berlin´s Philharmonie wrapped-up an international compétition with a dozen promising individuals in the cello and music world.
